Office Employees And Porn

Office workers are spending up to a fifth or their time online at work searching for porn. Porn obsessed staff in real estate, car dealerships and law firms are costing thousands of dollars a month in wasted hours and excess internet charges.

A survey by Brisbane internet security company Netbox Blue has revealed that porn routinely ranks among the top 10 most popular websites. Firms are losing productivity because staff are viewing pornography and other non-work-related websites instead of focusing on their proper tasks", chief executive Trent Davis said.

Recent examples of abuse include a boss's son who spent the day buying lingerie online and six lawyers who surfed the net for hardcore porn.

I know this is a problem, altough I am not sure they would be working during that time anyway. If not porn, it would be MP3 downloading or eBay shopping. It really doesn't matter. People are not slaves, so sometimes they do need to relax a bit. Or you can try to fight workplace porn by giving free adult site subscriptions to your employees like Danes!

and I shit bricks when I check my personal email? in one of the places I worked, one guy got in trouble for searching porn, but not porn as in overly explicit porn, and people have different classifications of porn as well.
