The lawyer for the 28-year-old successfully argued that interim name suppression should continue, as a psychiatric report had not been completed. However, an order preventing publication of the victim's name was lifted, with consent from her family.
She was Anna Louise Wilson, 24.
Wilson's body was found in the Avon River following reports of a woman being repeatedly run over in a central city carpark and then dragged into the back of the vehicle.
The man accused of her murder has been further remanded in custody, to reappear in court in March.
