A man from Wollongong in New South Wales has been charged with alleged child sex offences in the Philippines involving teenage girls.
Australian Federal Police (AFP) say they arrested the 73-year-old man during a search of his home yesterday morning.
They say that he lived for five years in the Philippines, during which time he had a relationship with a 15-year-old girl.
He is also accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old housemaid.
He appeared in Sydney's Central Local Court today and was granted bail.
